Visitors are all welcome to the HBYC

HBYC is located in the working harbour of Hout Bay and serves as a community centre as well as a Club for yachting and other water activities. We ask that non-members respect the Club’s facilities and enjoy the overall diverse atmosphere of the Club.

Visiting Yachts

Visiting Yachts to our Marina are very welcome but we ask that ALL Yachts pre-book a slot in the Marina by following some straightforward steps for seamless entry to the Marina.

  1. Please send an email or a WhatsApp to the Marina Manager by completing the ARRIVALS/DEPARTURE FORM in advance – Click Here.
  2. Please register yourself for access control purposes as we have a Face Recognition system at the EXIT/ENTRY  gate out/in to the Marina – Click Here. 
  3. As a Visiting Yacht please be aware of our Marina Rates – Click Here .
  4. Also be aware that you are required to be a temporary club member whose rates are – Click Here.
  5. There are Marina and Club rules and bylaws that you are requested to follow:

  6. As a Temporary member, you enjoy 20% off your food and bar expenses as well as special rates for venue hire
  7. Benefits as a temporary member are available to you only for the duration of your stay at the Marina
